If you need some help leveling your paladin, take a look at this Retribution Paladin leveling guide. The Retribution leveling spec works with patch 3.3 and is up to date!
Seriously, I do not recommend any other talent build than Retribution. It’s a nice thing that Paladins take massive amounts of punishment without dying, but without the proper damage output you will waste hours of your time.
If you can remember the old time when World of Warcraft was just published, leveling a paladin could be described as the following process:
- Target enemy
- Activate auto-attack
- Alt-tab to the desktop to watch a movie or just take a shower
- Come back
- Heal up and target the next enemy
Well, fortunately it’s a bit easier to level a paladin nowadays, but you will still need every help you can get or you will soon feel the deep wish to just delete your alt and play your main character again
Let’s start with the talent build itself. This is how your Retribution Paladin Leveling Spec should look like:
Of course you don’t just spec the talents from left to right… I recommend you to rush for the following talents first and get the rest later on:
- Improved Judgements
- Seal of Command
- Art of War
- Judgements of the Wise
- Crusader Strike
Those are definitely the most important talents early on. As you can see, you should be able to use Exorcise as an instant cast quite often and you should use absolutely every opportunity to do so!
Unfortunately, even with the right talent build, leveling a Paladin is a dull task and I bet you just want to get it over with to finally play the endgame content with your guild mates again.
That’s why I recommend you to get a paladin leveling guide that works in-game and provides you with the perfect, most efficient questing path. I personally don’t know any easier, quicker way to level your character from level 1-80 than this.
Some players will tell you that it’s cheap to use a paladin leveling guide… those players had a really hard time leveling up their characters and they can’t stand the thought that you could have it any easier than them. Envy comments are just their way of saying “Damn, I wish I would have leveled this fast and easy”.
